First off, I'm 6'5" (1.96 m), 200 lbs (91 kg) and have an athletic build. I ordered size Large Tall.

The Fit: The fit is reasonably good. The shoulders fit very well, the chest has enough room. The body length is good and this is the first jacket I've had in a long time where the sleeves are sufficiently long. The sleeves also are large enough to be comfortable moving around. The mid-section doesn't fit as well. Like many tall sized clothes, the assumption seems to be that if you're tall you must also be big.

It would be nice if it came in an inch or two from the chest to just above the waist. This isn't as bad when wearing a sweatshirt or sweater, but when just wearing a t-shirt or dress shirt it is almost too big. I decided to keep it anyway because it's hard to find a tall jacket that is tall enough, and even though the mid-section is big, it doesn't look worse for it.

Features: This is what you would expect from a softshell jacket. It is warm enough to work for temps just below freezing, maybe lower if you layer. It is not as wind resistant as I expected, but isn't bad. I haven't tried it in the rain yet. The pockets are large and insulated, so they will keep your hands warm.

Overall it's a solid jacket. It is more comfortable than the LL Bean jacket it replaced, and $40 cheaper.

Cinch at bottom on both sides (I would rather have good quality elastic)
No Inside pockets (But has 3rd zippered Napoleon pocket)
Zippered hand pockets that are soft and warm!
Adjustable Velcro sleeves (I would rather have good quality elastic)
Collar has too much material so even with the collar up it leaves a gap between the neck that let's cold air in.
The inside fleece material even though it is soft is not as thick as the standard fleece sweaters and therefore not as warm.
Just not warm enough for northern California coastal fog and wind.

Yes we are in Needles Ca and on rivers edge golf course. My husband never had a vest but wears this to golf in. He loves it as he can still play unencumbered and stay warm. We have had some chilly mornings and he wears a long sleeve shirt and his vest. It also washes nice. I line dry it and it has been washed lots.

I must thank all the other reviewers for warning that this shirt fits large. I bought a size down from my usual and it fit well.

The Bahama shirt looks and fit very similar to the Bonehead and the Tamiami. However, the material for all 3 shirts are rather different. The Bonehead is cotton, the Bahama and the Tamiami are both synthetic type material which have different UV protection abilities. I must say that I like the Tamiami as it offers the best UV protection and has the nicest fabric of the 3. But this is subjective and many would prefer cotton. The Bahama has a different pocket deign from the Tamiami and again I personally prefer the Tamiami.
It is a good shirt however and Amazon offers a pretty competitive price for it. Happy overall with it.
